The 16th Asian Conference on Lactic Acid Bacteria (ACLAB 16) will be held on 12–13 November 2026 for the first time in Laguna, Philippines. This biennial gathering brings together leading scientists, educators, and industry professionals to advance knowledge and collaboration in the field of lactic acid bacteria.

With the theme “Securing the Future of Indigenous LAB for Global Impact,” ACLAB 16 highlights the importance of preserving and harnessing the diversity of indigenous LAB strains. The program will feature keynote lectures, research presentations, and networking opportunities aimed at strengthening regional expertise while addressing global challenges in food, health, and biotechnology.
